How I Ruined Everything is a comedy about the pursuit of happiness.  After having an epiphany about what it means to be an artist, Kate's life begins to unravel.  It unwittingly puts her marriage in jeopardy and starts a chain of events that makes her have to decide what is more important:  the passionate pursuit of her own destiny or a life of content stability.
